Serving as the Commander of the Air Force from 2016 to 2020, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Affendi Bin Haji Buang TUDM (Retired) achieved the highest position in the ATM as Commander of the Armed Forces on 2 January 2020.
Born in Kuching, Sarawak in 1962, his contributions to the nation as a skilled fighter pilot has now extended to the role of Chairman at Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn. Bhd.

As the main Shareholder and Director of Bilun Borneo Sdn. Bhd., the acquisition of Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn. Bhd. from Sarawak Cable Berhad is set to improve the company’s future-facing performance.

Sani brings decades of experience in the Marketing and Operations division of major companies such as Exxon Mobil, Avro Medical and Rozisma Holdings to the company, successfully organising topline projects such as LIMA’17 as Chief Operating Officer.
Under his tenure as Chief Operating Officer at Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn. Bhd., his experience leading HRA, Account & Operations Division has been proven as an invaluable skill in leadership.
GENERAL MANAGER - HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION
Since the beginning of her career, Monaliza’s experience as HR & Admin Manager, Marketing Manager, Head of Group HR & Admin at various companies has emboldened her motivation to handle expansive portfolios.
With vast experience in co-managing more than one company at a time, her role as General Manager Human Resources & Administration of Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn Bhd serves as an extension of her experiences and widened her scope in serving various corporate sectors.
GENERAL MANAGER - PROCUREMENT & MATERIAL CONTROL
With over 28 years of experience in the transmission line industry, Hasnizam has completed various projects under an extensive portfolio of Design, Project Management and Material Management.
Utilising his previous experience as Senior Manager of Procurement and Material Management specialised in Transmission Lines, he has risen to the role of General Manager of Procurement & Material Control, bringing decades of technical expertise to the company.
GENERAL MANAGER - PROJECT OPERATIONS
With decades of experience as Site Engineer and Tower Foundation Design for Transmission Line projects, Zainal has encountered various exposure challenges in Quality Control Aspect and General Project Management.
As General Manager of Project Operations, his experience in preparing tender costing, projects budgetary and project cost control across the financial S-curve is used to align cost expectations with final output.
SENIOR MANAGER - HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT
With experience under various telecommunications and energy providers such as Sapura Telecommunication, Tenaga Nasional Berhad and Sarawak Energy Berhad, Hashim’s experience as a registered Safety and Health Officer and Scaffolder is used to bolster his role in the company.
As the Senior Manager of Health, Safety & Environment, he utilises in-depth knowledge of safety protocol implementation to secure the wellbeing of workers across project sites.
SENIOR MANAGER - PROJECT
Stemming from his experience as Site Engineer for various transmission line projects, Asran continued to expand his expertise into the role of Site Manager, successfully overseeing the construction processes conducted on-site.
In his current role as Senior Manager of Project, he encountered various exposure challenges in the Quality Control Aspect and General Project Management scopes, adapting to various workplace challenges.
SENIOR MANAGER - CONTRACT & LEGAL
During her years of experience in legal private practice, Nasuha was entrusted to handle numerous legal suits, appearing before different tiers of Malaysian courts, including the Court of Appeal.
As Trenergy Infrastructure Sdn Bhd’s Senior Contract Manager, her talents have been used to outline various contract details and monitor financial plans within different transmission line project efforts.
